Mary Jane Pashelk
81, Wausau, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Wausau.
She was born January 14, 1924 in the town of Reid, daughter of the late Stanley and Frances (Jaskie) Zyduck. On August 20, 1949 she married August "Gus" Pashelk at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on December 2, 1996.
Mary Jane had been employed at the former Employers Mutual Insurance and had been transferred to San Francisco for serval years. She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening, and was a good cook. As an accomplished seamstress, Mary Jane sewed beautiful, one of a kind dresses. Among her favorite pastimes were collecting and displaying antiques as well as playing cards with family and friends.
Survivors include a brother-in-law, Duane Gorman, Mosinee, two sisters-in-law, Marie Zyduck, Calif., and Lavern Zyduck, Fla., nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Mary Jane was preceded in death by six brothers, Alvin, Harry, Richard, Edward, Felix and Joseph Zyduck, five sisters, Tillie Liebe, Virginia Gorman, Anne Knauf, Agnes Zyduck and Emily VanOuse.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2005 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. The Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
