Mary Ann Miracle
90, Rothschild, died Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Schofield.
She was born July 26, 1915 in Marathon County, daughter of the late Vincent and Kathryn (Woytasik) Hryniewicki. On September 16, 1939, she married Elroy E. Miracle at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. He preceded her in death on April 22, 2002.
Mary was devoted to her husband Elroy, always a fashion conscious dresser, meticulous about every detail of her home and garden and a notable cook whose family always enjoyed her holiday feasts. Mary was a sales consultant at Maurices for more than 20 years until her retirement. She belonged to St. Mark's Ladies Council and took great pride in attending to her magnificent flower garden, which actually covered most of her backyard. She enjoyed a good game of bingo right up to the last day.
Survivors include many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Besides her parents and husband, Elroy, she was preceded in death by four Hryniewicki brothers: Stanley, Martin, John and Ted; and four sisters, Helen Petroske, Frances Hogan, Anna Sickinger and Theresa Firkus.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at Noon, Thursday, May 25, 2006 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 602 Military Road, Rothschild. Rev. Allan L. Slowiak will preside. Entombment will be in the Holy Angels Mausoleum in St. Michael Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call at the church, Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
