Mary Mieding

Mary L. Mieding, 71, Rothschild died Monday, January 8, 2018 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born April 30, 1946 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Edward and Loretta (Stauske) Mieding. For many years Mary was a teacher at St. Peter Lutheran School in Schofield. In her younger years she loved to travel and was proud to have traveled to 49 of the 50 states. Mary enjoyed doing crafts, having many different types of "collections", watching football and was known by her family to be the Family Historian. Mary will also be known for her outstanding love and devotion to St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church. She will be deeply missed by her church family. Survivors include many cousins, friends and neighbors. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church, Schofield. The Rev. Walter Davidson will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Peter School. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
