Mary Jane Mattson,
81, 905 Kickbusch St., Wausau, died Sunday January 20, 2002 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital.
She was born September 5, 1920 in Merrill, daughter of the late Charles and Amelia (Rex) Parlier. She married Robert Oestreich, he preceded her in death. She then married Norman Wolfe. He preceded her in death. Her husband Frank Mattson preceded her in death on July 20, 1999.
Mary Jane was a homemaker. She was an enthusiastic member of the Sweet Adelines and among her favorite enjoyments were dancing and singing. She had been a member of the choir at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her sons, Terrance (Judy) Oestreich, Ringle, William (Jean) Wolfe, Wausau and Richard (Judy) Wolfe, Wausau, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, two brothers, Charles (Jean) Parlier, Wausau and William (Shirley) Parlier, Concorde, Calif.
Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Oestreich and a sister, Techkla Parlier.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday January 25, 2002 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. John Meachen will officiate. Entombment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th St., Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
