Mary A. Jensen
83, 2504 Mount View Blvd., Wausau, died Monday, December 27, 2004 at Cedar Creek Manor under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
She was born December 24, 1921 in Armstrong Creek, Wis., daughter of the late Simon and Victoria (Hren) Ostrowski. On January 25, 1941, she married Donald Jensen in Chicago, Ill. He preceded her in death.
Mary was a homemaker, belonged to several bridge clubs and was a member of the Pilgrim Lutheran Church. Among her many interests, she enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles, reading and was an avid Packer and Brewer fan.
Survivors include, two children, Wayne (Betty) Jensen, Ringle and Kristin (Gary) Passow, Wausau; three grandchildren, Laurie (Doug) Nibarger, Wittenberg, Sherry (Doug) Kasprak, Bevent and Rick (Tracy) Jensen, Hatley; three great grandchildren, Megan Nibarger, Cody and Samantha Kasprak; two brothers, Andrew Ostrowski, Harvard, Ill. and Raymond (Jean) Ostrowski, Cave Creek, Ariz.; two sisters-in-law, Olga Ostrowski, Bettendorf, Iowa and Doris Gibb, Phelps, Wis.; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; one son, Jay Jensen; one sister; and five brothers.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2004 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Paulette Creswell will officiate. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. Thursday, until time of services at the church. Burial will be 1:30 p.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
