Mary K. Holloman

Mary K. Holloman, 91, Wausau died Friday, April 21, 2017 at St. Clare's Hospital, Weston. She was born January 28, 1926 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Guy W. and Mabel (Marceille) Holloman. Mary was a graduate of the College of Immaculata in Chicago. She later went to work for Wisconsin Box in Wausau as a bookkeeper/secretary for 27 years. Traveling and taking an occasional trip to the casino were some of her favorite pastimes. Survivors include her sister, Jane (Don) Shampine-Sandberg, Wausau, her nieces, Elizabeth Ann (Joseph) Gagliano, Milwaukee and Kathleen M. (Bryant) Calmes, Wausau, one nephew, Brody Sandberg, Wausau, and several great nieces and great nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Clarence Holloman, one nephew, Jason Sandberg and two nieces, Pamela Gomez and Suzanne Shampine. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. The Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Wednesday from Noon until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
