Mary L. Falkowski

Mary L. Falkowski 87, 2800 Eagle Ave., Wausau, died Tuesday, July 29, 2003 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. She was born July 9, 1916 in Tomahawk, daughter of the late Jacob and Marie (Guisiano) Martino. On August 10, 1946 Mary was united in marriage to Stanley Falkowski at St. Mary Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1983. Mary loved cleaning, cooking, baking, spend time with her grandchildren and taking an occasional trip to the casino. Survivors include her children, John (Chris Mommaerts) Falkowski, De Pere, Toni (Ron) Meyer, Rib Mountain, one granddaughter, Tammy Jablonski, Las Vegas, four great grandchildren, Ashley and Alexis Jablonski, Anthony and Alex Schultz, one brother, John (Bev) Martino, Rothschild, two sisters, Jenny Albrent, Rothschild and her loving friend and sister Dorothy Martino, Schofield, one sister-in-law, Elsie Martino, Wausau and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Mary was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters and her granddaughter Bonnie Schultz. The funeral mass will be celebrated 3:30 p.m. Friday, August, 1, 2003 at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Rev. Frederick Njoroge Kairu and Rev. Donald Meurett will preside. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum. Friends may call on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
