Mary V. Bohr 87, Wausau, died Friday, April 20, 2007 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston. She was born February 4, 1920 in Poniatowski, daughter of the late Anton and Helen (Soczka) Sikorski. On June 27, 1944, she married Joseph P. Bohr at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1964. Mary had been employed at Marathon Battery and Wisconsin Box, prior to her retirement. Among her many interests, she enjoyed gardening, sewing and baking cookies for her grandchildren. Survivors include, four children, Bruce (Mary) Bohr, Marathon, Donald (Karen) Bohr, Wausau, Patrick Bohr, Austin, Tex., and Mary Lynn (Norb) Hart, Rothschild; eight grandchildren, Katie, Joseph, Ryan and Matthew Bohr, Kevin and Julie Bohr and Joey and Jeremy Hart; and one brother, Florian Sekorski, Edgar; sisters-in-law, Marceline Bullis, Waterloo, Iowa, Helen Bohr, Royal, Iowa and Ann Bohr, Pierre, S.D. Besides her parents and husband, Joseph, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Annie Lori Bohr; and three brothers, Mark, Leonard and Joe Sikorski. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild. Rev. Allan Slowiak will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at the church.
