Mary A. Hall, 60, of Edgar, passed away unexpectedly, at home, on Sunday, December 14, 2025.
She was born in Wausau on January 26, 1965, to Lawrence Gassner and the late Catherine (Altenhofen) Gassner. Mary was united in marriage to Jeffrey Hall in 1990 at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Wausau. They have three children and raised their family in the town of Cassel. In addition to providing for her family at home and helping on the farm, Mary also had a career spanning over 30 years at Graebel Van Lines. She worked as an accountant and eventually became a supervisor prior to her retirement.
Mary loved her family very much and always cherished time with them, especially with her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles, and playing sheepshead with family and friends. She also loved time outdoors such as snowmobiling, being in the woods, operating farm equipment, and participating in the day-to-day activities on the farm.
Survivors include her husband, Jeffrey; children, Robert (Kelly) Hall, Victoria (Mathew) Abel, and Adam Hall; grandchildren, Elanor & Collin, Andrew, Abigaile, and Annalee; father, Lawrence Gassner; siblings, Jerome Gassner and Theresa Stubbe; niece and goddaughter, Marie Stubbe; niece, Emily (Brian) Cutler; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Gassner; and brother, Mark Gassner.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgar, with Rev. Alan Wierzba presiding. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service, all at the church. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com.
