Marvin H. Lucht 62, 2809 Hubbill Avenue., Wausau, died Monday, January 15, 2007 at his home. He was born April 11, 1944 in Antigo, son of the late Hilbert and Renata (Kolpack) Lucht. On May 16, 1970 he married June Warpehoski at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. She survives. Marvin was employed with 3M Co. in Wausau for over 12 years in the maintenance department. Some of his favorite pastimes included traveling with his wife June, appreciating older cars, but most of all Marvin will always be remembered for being the "family man" along with his ability to share stories during the many family functions that were held at their home. Marvin proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and also as an engineman on the U.S.S. Bulloch County LST 509 from 1964 to 1968. Survivors include his wife June Lucht, Wausau, one daughter, Felecia Lucht, Wausau, his siblings, twin sister, Marlene (Bob) Breutzmann, Jeanne (Al Remington) Lucht and John (Loretta) Lucht, all of Antigo, Gloria (Bob) Forrest, Green Bay and Jerry (Becky) Lucht, Wausau. Marvin is further survived by special friends, Harry (Adel) Blair, Wausau and many nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one nephew Kyle Lucht. At Marvin's request private family services were held. In lieu of flowers memorials in Marvin's name may be directed to the Humane Society.
