Martha C. Pratt

Martha (Magrecki) Pratt, 96, 2400 Marshall Street, Wausau, died Thursday, March 10, 2005 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. Martha, previously of Rhinelander, was born July 28, 1908 in Wausau, daughter of the late Casper and Mary (Kowalski) Magrecki. She was preceded in death by her husband, Officer Frederick Pratt, Wis. State Patrol in 1947 and son U. S. Army Cpl., Richard Pratt, in 1952. Survivors include, one daughter, Sylvia (Carl W.) Lang, Cal. and one son, Frederick (Ruth) Pratt, Wausau; three grandchildren, Patricia (Michael) Bruns, Cal., Nancy (Brian Gaynor) Lang, Wash. and Carl W. (Teresa) Lang III, Wash.; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Clara Kryshak, Wausau; and one sister in law, Margaret Magrecki, Wausau. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick; one son, Richard; four brothers, Tony, John, Leo and Stanley Magrecki; and one sister, Verna Haufschildt. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Inurnment will be in the parish cemetery.
