Martha Miller

Martha Miller 89, 2400 Marshall Street, Wausau, died Wednesday, March 09, 2005 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services. She was born November 20, 1915 in Hartsdale, Ind., daughter of the late Jacob and Minnie (Kickert) Van Proyen. On November 21, 1943, she married Lawrence Miller in the town of Plover. He preceded her in death on December 25, 1958. Martha was a homemaker, and enjoyed flowers and gardening. Survivors include three children, Frank (Mary) Miller, Ringle, Mary Jane (David) Opper, Wausau and Minnie (Willie) Miller, Milwaukee; two grandchildren, Tammy (O.J.) Johnson, Mosinee and Scot (Tammy) Miller, Rosholt; seven great-grandchildren, Ashley and Tabitha Opper, Wausau, David Opper, Union Grove, McKenzy, Saige and Rusty Johnson, Mosinee, and Bryce Miller, Rosholt; one great great grandson, Keeton Opper, Wausau; and one sister, Nellie Krause, Antigo. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; two grandchildren, Tracy Opper and Connie Lyn Miller; and seven brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2005 at Restlawn Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Wausau. Rev. Larry Ten Haken will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at Restlawn.
