Martha E. Krueger

Martha E. Krueger, 99, Wausau, died Thursday, September 18, 2003 at River Pines Nursing Home, Stevens Point. She was born June 30, 1904 in Stevens Point, daughter of the late August and Josephine (Slowinski) Frank. In 1925 she married John Pleet, Jr., he preceded her in death in 1940. In 1942 she married Clem Krueger, he preceded her in death in 1949. On January 19, 1952 she married Felix Krueger in Chicago, Ill. He preceded her in death on January 21, 1975. Martha was the owner of Katherine K's Intimate Apparel of Wausau for many years. She was an active member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau, and was a member of the Altrusa Club of Wausau. Survivors include two step-daughters, Alice (Ervin) Falkavage, and Margaret Falkavage, both of Stevens Point; three step-sons, James (Phyllis) Krueger, Alabama, Clement (Betty) Krueger, Woodruff, Jerry (Dorothy) Krueger, California; step grand and great grandchildren; one sister, Alice Laszewski, Milwaukee; nieces and nephews. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2003 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. The Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home 1302 Sixth, Wausau and again Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
