Marlene M. (Rychtik) Young
43, Athens, died Friday, November 24, 2006 at home under the care of Ministry Home Hospice surrounded by family and friends.
She was born November 15, 1963 in Port Washington, daughter of Anthony and Margo (Godersky) Rychtik.
Marlene worked at Mesner Lumber and enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, canning and putting together puzzles.
Survivors include her daughter, Christina Johnson, Arizona; parents, Anthony and Margo Rychtik, Athens; sister, Sue (Gary) Schilling, Athens; three brothers, Anthony Rychtik Jr., Wausau, Chris (Kristin) Rychtik, Mylin and Francis (fiance' Jill) Rychtik, Abbotsford; six nephews, Josh Rychtik, Derick Krajenka, Dustin Dyer, David Rychtik, Francis Rychtik Jr. and Jason Rychtik; four nieces, Carole Rychtik, Leah Zorn, Gina Rychtik and Courtney Rychtik.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Elmer and Agnes Godersky, and Const and Theresa Rychtik; one great aunt and uncle Antone and Agnes Rychtik.
The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Athens. Rev. Charles Hiebl will preside. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens and again on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a rosary service Monday evening at the funeral home.
The family wishes to extend their appreciation to Ministry Home Hospice, Eddy and Theresa Hoffman and friends for their care and support.
