Marlene C. Scheibl 77, 1715 Eagle Valley Lane, Wausau died Friday, May 15, 2009 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born January 31, 1932 in Sheboygan, daughter of the late Norman and Cresence (Eiring) Howe. On October 6, 1962 she married Jerome "Jerry" Scheibl at St. Mary Catholic Church in Sheboygan Falls. He survives. For more than ten years Marlene was a pediatric nurse at St. Vincent Infant and Maternity Hospital in Chicago. She was a former president of the Wausau Elk's Ladies Bowling League and was also a charter member of the Wausau Elkettes, #248. Survivors include her husband, Jerome "Jerry" Scheibl, Wausau, one sister-in-law, Jean Tiemeyer, Arizona and five nephews. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at The Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Wausau. The Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
