Marlene D. Knuth

Marlene D. Knuth 77, Wausau died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born September 27, 1932 in Wisconsin Rapids, daughter of the late Joseph and Sylvia (Walters) Zastava. On December 28, 1955 she married Marvin R. "Mike" Knuth in Wisconsin Rapids. He survives. Marlene worked at Wausau Insurance for over 11 years and then found her niche as a homemaker. Some of her favorite pastimes included cooking, baking, reading, spending time with her family, traveling and camping. Survivors include her husband, Marvin "Mike" Knuth, Wausau, one daughter, Wendy Knuth, Wausau, one granddaughter, Jenny (Nathan) Kulhman and one great granddaughter, Madison Kulhman. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Gloria Livingston. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Faith Lutheran Church, town of Maine. The Rev. Kevin Hoogland will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
