Mark C. Senoraske

April 25, 1910 — November 22, 2002

Mark C. Senoraske, 92, Wausau, died Friday, November 22, 2002, at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. Mark was born April 25, 1910 in the town of Bevent, son of the late George and Anna (O'Konek) Senoraske. He married Elizabeth M. Garske on August 1, 1936 in Belvidere, Illinois. She preceded him in death on August 10, 2001. Mark was a Master Glazer. He worked at Hoffer Glass Company and Pittsburgh Plate and Glass until he retired in 1975. He was instrumental in forming the International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades Union in Wausau. He was honored with a Life Membership on July 10, 1970. He also was a Charter Member of the Local 1204 Glazers Union. Mark loved life and was actively involved with his children and their families, helping build their homes, taxi service, ball games, fishing and hunting. He spent many hours fishing at the Rainbow Flowage. He enjoyed his many friends. Mark planned and went hunting with "his boys" until he was in his late 80's, which was very special to him. He is survived by one daughter, Deanne (Gary) Ruesch, Lake Tomahawk; two sons, Mark J. Senoraske, Minocqua, Paul F. (Sandra) Senoraske, Schofield; 9 grandchildren, Scott A. (Betty) Ruesch, Holly J. Ruesch, Timothy J. (Janis) Ruesch, Mark B. (Kathy) Senoraske, Brian J. (Beth) Senoraske,Keith A. Senoraske, Jody L. Senoraske, Angie M. Senoraske, Todd Senoraske; 11 great grandchildren, Kyle Ruesch, Isaac Ruesch, Paige Ruesch, Davietta "Coco" Butty, Josiah Butty, Jayne Ruesch, T.J. Ruesch, Graham Ruesch, Simon Ruesch, Mark M. Senoraske, Easton W. Senoraske; two sisters, Eva Chilles and Elizabeth "Betty" Dean both of Wausau. Besides his wife, Elizabeth and his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Pauline Seiler, Agnes Hackbarth, Verenika Senoraske; two brothers, Benedict and Daniel Senoraske. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2002, at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. The Rev. William Grevatch will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street Funeral Home.
