Mark A. Cortes 35, Merrill, died Thursday, January 6, 2005 at his home. He was born December 24, 1969 in Waukesha, son of Dorothy (Kingston) Frank, Merrill and the late Rafael Cortes. Mark was employed at Perkins. Survivors include one daughter, Miranda Cortes, Wausau; mother and step father, Dorothy & Scott Frank, Merrill; one sister, Ellie Cortes, Merrill; one step sister, Heidi Frank, Wausau; one step brother, Michael (Jesse) Frank, Wausau; grandmother, Dorothy Marie Kingston, Edgar; grandfather, Marcelino Mendez, Waukesha; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will officiate.
