Marjorie M. Zoromski
77, 1320 Grand Avenue, Wausau, died Monday February 24, 2003 at the Hospice House, Wausau.
She was born September 6, 1925 in Saskatchawan, Canada, daughter of the late Roy and Susan (Schmirler) Merwin. On May 31, 1947 she married Andrew Zoromski at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. He survives.
Marjorie was a residential decorator and enjoyed embroidery, crocheting and flowers. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Army during World War II.
Survivors include her husband, Andrew, two sons, Mark (Denise) Zoromski, Kronenwetter, Tod Zoromski, Eau Claire, three daughters, Margo (Walter) Engebretson, Weston, Susan (Allan) Venzke, Athens, Renee (Michael) Falstad, Wausau, seven grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Margaret Boneske, Wausau and Ruby (Elmer) France, Rothschild.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Candy Stewart, two grandchildren and brothers and sisters, Lillian, Valerie, George, Archie, Leland, Ralph and Aaron.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Thursday February 27, 2003 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. Rev. Dr. Michael Meranda will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of services at the Stewart Avenue funeral home.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
