Marina Hoefler-Augustine

Marina Hoefler-Augustine 43, Athens died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. She was born August 12, 1968 in Eberbach, Germany daughter of Werner and Waltraud (Haas) Hoefler. On December 17, 1992 she married Edward Augustine in Wausau. He survives. Marina was a homemaker. She enjoyed doing the daily chores at their hobby farm in Athens, fishing, hunting, gardening, singing karaoke and taking care of their many animals. Survivors include her husband, Edward Augustine, Athens, her parents, Werner and Waltraud Hoefler, Germany, one brother, Klaus (Juvi) Hoefler, Germany, her mother-in-law, Annette Augustine, Edgar, two sisters-in-law, Cindy (Mike) Krebsbach, Edgar and Sherry (Orville) Gutknecht, Athens and three brothers-in-law, John Augustine, Wausau, Scott (Jamie) Augustine, Athens and Rick (Becky) Augustine, MN. Marina was preceded in death by her father-in-law Walter Augustine. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens. Burial will take place in Germany at a later date.
