Marilynn A. Heidvogel, 75, Wausau died Saturday, February 24, 2018 under the care of Interim Hospice at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 22, 1942 in Fremont, Nebraska, daughter of the late William and Adeline (Craven) Talbot. On February 8, 1964 she married John Heidvogel in Omaha, Nebraska. He survives.
For many years Marilynn was an interior decorator for Ethan Allen in Wausau. She enjoyed raising her four children and being a homemaker but nothing compared to being a grandmother and a great grandmother. She cherished the time she spent with her family and will be deeply missed by everyone.
Marilynn was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Oratory, Wausau and enjoyed volunteering there for many years. She was also a proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren and also one great granddaughter.
Survivors include her husband John Heidvogel, Wausau, her four children, Patricia (Thomas) Keil, LaCrosse; Richard (Beth) Heidvogel, Oconomowoc; Karen (Paul) Nell, Brookfield and Jennifer Heidvogel, Wales; 13 grandchildren, Cora and Jack Keil; Richard (Grace) Heidvogel, Hannah, John Thomas, William, Madeline, Grace and Mackenzie Heidvogel; Heidi and Emma Nell and Callie and LuLu Guebard, one great granddaughter, Lucy Heidvogel. Two brothers, William (Annie) Talbot and Jim Talbot, both of Dallas and one sister, Kathy (Barry) Denton, San Antonio, Texas and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Talbot.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. concluding with the rosary service at 7:30 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home at 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. preceded by a 10:30 a.m. rosary on Friday, March 2, 2018 at St. Mary Roman Catholic Oratory, Wausau. Canon Aaron Huberfeld will preside. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, town of Maine.
