Marie A. Reetz

Marie A. Reetz 72, Kronenwetter, died Tuesday, October 6, 2009 under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice at the House of Dove Hospice Home, Marshfield. She was born July 9, 1937 in Mattoon, daughter of the late Conrad and Amanda (Tews) Teuchert. On December 9, 1955, she married Ronald J. Reetz in Pine City, Minnesota. He preceded her in death on February 7, 2003. Among her many interests, she enjoyed going to the casino and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Marie was also an artist and enjoyed painting, but most of all, she was a doting grandma. Survivors include, two daughters, Renee (Jon) Jakubowski, Chippewa Falls, and Linda (Mike) Carpenter, Marquette, Mich.; twin sons, Wally (Cindy) Reetz, Mosinee and Tom (Andrea) Reetz, Spanaway, Wash.; four grandchildren, Adam Jakubowski, Jennifer (Patrick) Literski, Jessica and Nicole Reetz; and five siblings, Anita Ecker, Alfred Teuchert, Adeline Baranowski, Harold (Carolyn) Teuchert and Flora (Duane) Ecker. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Raymond Connor will officiate.
