Marie R. Ferge

Marie "Ma" R. Ferge 84, Wausau, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at North Central Health Care, Wausau. She was born February 9, 1924 in Norrie, daughter of the late Paul and Rose Perewich. Marie enjoyed polka music, dancing, fishing and embroidering. She also enjoyed softball, playing cards and the occasional trip to the casino. Survivors include five children, Burlyn "Toby" Ferge, Milton, Patricia (Gerald) Bargenquast, Abbotsford, Marcile (Peter) Seavers, Marathon, Harold (Carolyn) Ferge, Wausau and Ralph (Janet) Ferge, Schofield; seven grandchildren, Kim, Jay, Brad, Jamey, Tammy, Chad and Dana; nine great grandchildren, Justin, Kole, Brooklyn, Bryce, Logan, Tegan, Skylar, Lili and Alhea; nephew, Peter Steinke, Wausau; special friend, Orville Kneisl, Wausau and other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, Burlyn Sr., she was preceded in death by two sisters, Agnes and Lucille; two brothers, Johnny and Peter; two granddaughters, Michelle and Tonya and three grandsons, Kevin, Justin and Raymond. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. The Rev. Dee Webber will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 4 - 7 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services all at the Stewart Avenue funeral home.
