Marian Schneck

Marian Schneck, 93, Wausau, died Monday, January 12, 2004 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. She was born September 30, 1910 in Brokaw daughter of the late John and Marcyanna (Zywick) Sherfinski. On October 20, 1934 she married Ralph Schneck in Wausau. He preceded her in death on March 10, 1969. Marian was a cook for many years with Wausau Child Care Center. Survivors include one son, Dennis (Arnell) Schneck, Charlotte, N.C.; a daughter-in-law, Susan Schneck, Wausau; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one brother, Andrew Sherfinski, Waukesha. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ralph Schneck and one son, Phillip Schneck. The funeral mass will be celebrated 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2004 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. Robert Thorn will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Friday from 3:00 p.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Matthew Catholic Church.
