Marian Kolbe

Marian Kolbe 81, 3415 Hidden Links Drive, Wausau, died Tuesday November 15, 2005 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born July 21, 1924, in Wausau, daughter of the late Anton and Lydia (Weyneth) Kozlowski. On September 5, 1942, she married Herbert E. Kolbe. He preceded her in death December 30, 2002. Marian's life revolved around her family and her home. She was a loving wife and mother that enjoyed cooking for her family, tending her flower gardens and she loved to go antiquing for furniture to give her home that special finishing touch. Survivors include two daughters, Judith (Randall) Gorski, Wausau, Monna-Sue Kolbe, Madison, a sister, Lorraine (Bernard) Spatz, Wausau, a brother-in-law, Arnold (Wilma) Kolbe, Wausau and two sisters-in-law, Sharon Kolbe, Marathon and Vietta Kolbe, Rib Mountain. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Merlin Huehnerfuss and two brothers-in-law, Ervin Kolbe and Walter Kolbe. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday November 18, 2005 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Pastor Dean Julian and Rev. Richard Krenz will officiate. Entombment will be in the Kolbe Family Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice or to a memorial fund established that will fund the spread of the Gospel message throughout the world.
