Marian M. Czaplinski

Marian M. Czaplinski, 91, Wausau, died Wednesday, December 12, 2012 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Marywood Center, Wausau. She was born August 25, 1921 in Wausau, daughter of the late Harry and Elinora Nienow. On June 20, 1942 she married Leonard Czaplinski in Wausau. He preceded her in death on November 13, 1988. Marian was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading and listening to music, especially Polkas. She also enjoyed boating, family gatherings and was an avid Packer fan. Survivors include her daughter, Dawn (Vern) Hardell, Wausau; sons, Robert (Julie) Czaplinski, Tomahawk, Scott (Jill Ruger) Czaplinski, Wausau and Timothy (Charyl Hoover) Czaplinski, Tomahawk; grandchildren, Chris (Tara) O'Neil, Scott, Nicholas and Samuel Czaplinski; two great-grandchildren; brother, Tom (Marge) Nienow, Wausau; sisters, Delores Wald, Patricia Schreiber, Joan Schreiber, Carol Hackbarth and Virginia (Earl) Lang. Besides her parents and husband, Leonard, she was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene, and a brother, Harry Jr. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2012 at Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum. Friends may call Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services all at Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
