Marian F. Adamski
76, Rib Mountain, died Friday, September 22, 2006 at Wausau Manor.
She was born April 3, 1930 in Chicago, Ill., daughter of the late Henry and
Maria (Timme) Bohmann. On October 28, 1952 she married Philip Adamski at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. He survives.
Prior to her retirement, Marian had been employed as a stenographer at the
former Wausau Insurance Companies for thirty five years.
Among her many talents, she was a gardener and cook extraordinaire. She was a mother who was always very supportive of her family's school and extra
curricular activities. In addition, she was a member of the Church of St.
Anne, their Fatima Council and Circle of Joy. She and her husband Philip were
regular volunteers at the St. Anne Fish Fry, St. Anne Polka Festival and the
Badger State Games.
Survivors include her husband, Philip, Wausau, four children, Mary (Lance
Ihinger) Adamski, Eden Prairie, Minn. and their children, Kelsey and
Jacqueline; Dr. Diane (Peter Tiffany) Adamski, Bloomington, Minn. and their
daughter, Elizabeth; David (Linda) Adamski, Hartland, Wis. and their
children, Lindsay and Benjamin; Thomas (Mary) Adamski, Andover, Minn. and
their children, Kay Ellen and Matthew.
The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Monday September 25, 2006 at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Entombment will be in the Garden of Eternal Rest Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
