Margaret M. Ross

Margaret M. "Peggy" Ross 81, Wausau, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Harbor House Assisted Living, Rib Mountain, under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice. She was born April 24, 1928 in Marshfield, daughter of the late Morris and Dorothy (Gray) Ross. While living in Wausau, Peggy worked at several places, the most recent as a production scheduler at Green Bay Packaging and as a senior aid at the Performing Arts Foundation. For many years, she was an active volunteer with the Grand Theatre and the United Way office. Peggy enjoyed traveling across the United States, Western Europe and took several cruises. She was a talented artist who specialized in wild life art on surfaces from emu eggs to deer antlers. Survivors include one sister, Eunice Hallett, Benton City, Wash.; one sister-in-law, Loraine Ross, Marshfield; one brother-in-law, Ed Gorman, Coon Valley, Wis.; four nieces; eight nephews; and longtime family friends, Muriel Brehm, Wausau, Adell Stelzel, Colby and Rick (Susan) Brehm, Eden Prairie, Minn. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, William Ross; and one sister, Betty Gorman. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2010 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Nancy Russell will officiate. Entombment will be in the Garden of Eternal Rest Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
