Margaret Rader

Margaret "Margie" Rader 81, 1307 Bopf Street, Wausau, died Wednesday June 22, 2005 at her home. She was born July 7, 1923 in the town of Emmet, daughter of the late Joseph and Mayme (Masanz) Martin. On August 16, 1945, she married Rudolph Rader at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Halder. He survives. Margie was a homemaker and enjoyed every aspect of family life, from baking to gardening and caring for her husband and family any way she could. An involved member of Holy Name Parish, Margie was also a member of their St. Catherine Council and was a funeral lunch coordinator. She was an avid Packers fan, was faithful in her daily walks and enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino. Survivors include her husband, Rudy Rader, Wausau, one son, Joseph (Jean) Rader, Wausau, two grandchildren, Jamie Rader and Joe Rader Besides her parents, Margie was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Hall, Celeste Weichmann, four brothers, Joseph "Bud" Martin, Arthur Martin, Alois Martin and Jack Martin. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. Sunday June 26, 2005 at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Rev. Joseph Gyim-Austin, Rev. Donald Berg and Rev. Norman Boneck will preside. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Halder. Friends may call on Saturday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau, and again on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish vigil service 7:00 p.m. Saturday at the Stewart Avenue funeral home. Online condolences at www.petersonkraemer.com
