Margaret S. Juvonen
76, Wausau, died Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born April 1, 1929 in Vastervik, Sweden, daughter of the late Jakob and Signe (Johansson) Brandt. On November 17, 1951, she married Alex Juvonen in Sweden. He survives.
Among her many interests, she enjoyed writing letters, knitting, baking, cross-stitch and playing Scrabble. One of Margaret's favorite pastimes was going up north to Presque Isle. She was a "happy housewife".
Survivors include her husband, Alex, Wausau; one son, Anders (Kerry) Juvonen, Wausau; two daughters, Angela Juvonen, Morton Grove, Ill. and Annette (Ken) Bodnar, Hinckley, Ohio; five grandchildren, Laura, Ellen and Erik Juvonen, and Andrea and Ted Bodnar; one sister, Stina (Torgny) Nilsson, Sweden; and two brothers, Sune Brandt and Sven Olaf (Marian) Brandt, both of Sweden.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2005 at Christian Assembly-Assemblies of God, Wausau. Rev. Dennis Romine will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Sunday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again Monday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church.
Memorials may be directed to Christian Assembly-Assemblies of God, Wausau for foreign missions.
