Margaret Hoersch
83, 2400 Marshall Street, Wausau, died Monday, February 20, 2006 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born July 14, 1922 in Marshfield, daughter of the late John and Barbara (Brunner) Straka. On November 27, 1946 she married Clarence Hoersch in Aniwa. He preceded her in death on September 17, 2005.
Margaret was a homemaker. She also worked with the hot lunch program at the former St. Mary Catholic School. Margaret was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and enjoyed playing cards, puzzle books and spending time with her family.
Survivors include one daughter, Catherine Hoersch, Wausau, one son Michael (Carla) Hoersch, Weston , two grandchildren, Heather Hoersch, Atlanta and Jonathan Hoersch, Madison, one sister, Sophie Mary Fliegel and one brother Martin (Joyce) Straka, both of Michigan.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2006 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. The Rev. Stephen Gross will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home.
