Margaret Helen Hirsch

Margaret "Peggy" Hirsch 52, Wausau died Friday, July 23, 2010 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at her home. She was born June 19, 1958 in Marathon County, daughter of the late Clinton and Iris (Duranceau) Claussen. On July 10, 1999 she married David Hirsch at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wausau. He survives. Peggy was employed with GPI in Schofield for more than 5 years, Schofield Enterprise and also managed the Village Inn in Marathon from 2001 until 2005. Peggy enjoyed many outdoor activities and also enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, David Hirsch, Wausau, her four children, Brandy (Dane) Moore, Wausau, Tiffany Bell, Mesa, AZ, Amanda (Matt) York, Buckeye, AZ and Darek (Hillary) Bell, Phoenix, nine grandchildren, four siblings, Barbara Howland, Wausau, Gary Madden, Tomahawk, Frank (Rebecca) Claussen, Wausau and Dick Rupp, Houston, Texas, her father and mother-in-law, Ray and Doris Madden, Merrill and her father-in-law, James Hirsch, King along with other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wausau. The Rev. John Meachen will officiate. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Peggy's name.
