Margaret "Peggie" Bartz

Margaret "Peggie" Bartz, 66, Wausau, died Friday November 23, 2012 at her home. She was born July 26, 1946, in Wausau, daughter of the late Edwin and Lucille (Barden) Pergolski. On September 29, 2006, she married Michael Bartz in Wausau. He survives. Peggie was a longtime employee of Wausau Steel Corporation, Wausau and was an active member of the Wausau Eagles Aerie #251. Among her favorite things to do were playing bingo and finding projects to add to her husband Mike's 'Honey-Do' list. Through the years, she was a host mother to many foreign exchange students. Her giving nature was further witnessed in her constant desire to help others in need. Peggie was most known for always putting her family before herself. She was a loving wife, a proud mother and grandmother and a close friend to her many siblings. Peggie will be missed by many. Survivors include her husband, Michael Bartz, Wausau, three daughters, Lisa Davidson, Texas, Cindy Davidson, Wausau and Leslie Davidson, Wausau, two granddaughters, Alliy and Emma, 12 siblings, Patricia Pergolski, Wausau, Joanne (Jerome) Lang, Colleen (John) Stillwell, all of Wausau, Mary (Ralph) Henry, Ypsilanti. Mich., Tina Walters, Clear, Alaska, Sandra (Greg) Daroci, Belleville, Mich., Richard (Darlene) Pergolski, Robert (Bonnie) Pergolski, John (Diane) Pergolski, George (Liz) Pergolski, all of Wausau, Donald (Linda) Pergolski, Nevada, James (Katie) Pergolski, Neenah, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Edwin "Buddy" Pergolski, one sister, Lois "Punky" Luedtke and one brother-in-law, Wayne Walters. Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday November 28, 2012 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home.
