Marcia Gorman, 68, Madison, a former Wausau resident, passed away on Monday,
September 23. Marcia was born on July 5, 1934, in St. Paul, Minnesota, daughter of Hildegard and Walter Nelson. She came to Wausau years later with her parents and attended Wausau East High School. Marcia also attended and graduated from St. Mary's Nursing School and worked as a nurse in the Wausau area until 1992.
Marcia was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She provided a wonderful home for her husband (Jack, deceased) and children, who will always remember her never-ending devotion and selflessness.
Marcia is survived by her six children: Kathryn (Matthew) Kyler, Linda, Susan, Nancy, Patrick (Laurie) Gorman and Teri (Ryan) Shore; and her seven grandchildren: Lindsay, Lucas, Matthew, Nicole, Christina, Saxton and Rowan.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, September 27, 2002, at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ (formerly St. James), Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
