Marcella F. Heil

Marcella F. Heil, 96, died August 4, 2024 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

She was born February 21, 1928, in town of Rietbrock, daughter of the late August and Emily (Stencil) Urmanski.  On July 10, 1948, she married Raymond Heil at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski and he preceded her in death on June 1, 1988.

Marcella was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  In addition to being a homemaker she also worked as a waitress at the Labor Temple for over 25 years.  She enjoyed spending time at the cottage, fishing, snowmobiling, traveling, gardening, and other outdoor activities.

Survivors include her children, Marjean Heil, Steven Heil and Stuart (Suchada) Heil; grandchildren, Robyn (Matt) Gagner, Michael Heil, Skylar and Spencer Heil; great-grandchildren, Madisen, Elly, McKenzie, Noah and Cherish; sister, Bernadette Stieber.

Besides her parents and husband, Raymond, she was preceded in death by a son, Duaine Heil, daughter, Carol Ann Heil, sisters, Eleanor Drewek, Helen Myszka and Stella Sikorski, brothers, Infant Edward and George Urmanski.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at Noon on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau.  Rev. Isaac Pecha will preside.  Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service all at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau.
