Mamie K. Zoborowski

Mamie K. Zoborowski 88, Wausau, died Saturday, March 8, 2008 at her home. She was born November 7, 1919 in Hatley, daughter of the late Felix and Mary (Czeck) Pozorski. On March 5, 1935, she married Joseph Zoborowski at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. He preceded her in death on June 9, 2007. Mamie was a homemaker and always enjoyed making cookies for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Survivors include, one son, Myron "Mike" (Marge) Zoborowski, Weston; five grandchildren, Randy Zoborowski, Richard Zoborowski, Joan Roloff, Joe Zoborowski and Jean Lois; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Ernest Pozorski, Wausau and Raymond (Barbara) Pozorski, Schofield; one sister, Agnes Hutchhausen, Manitowoc; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Joseph, she was preceded in death by one son, Ernie Zoborowski; one sister, Edna Shelbrach; and two brothers, Theodore and Edward Pozorski. Funeral services will be at Noon Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Gerald Pehler O.F.M. Cap will officiate. Entombment will be in the Holy Angels Mausoleum, St. Michael Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
