Lynette Renay Barttelt, 63, town of Stettin passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, September 1, 2024 while under the care of family and Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
Lynette was born November 12, 1960 to George and Beatrice (Dehnel) Reichl in Wausau, WI. On December 20, 1980 she married Russell Barttelt at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Wausau, WI.
Survivors include her loving husband, Russell Barttelt, town of Stettin, her daughter Kristy (Joe) Friendshuh, Pulaski, WI and her three grandchildren, Lydia, Paige and Graham Friendshuh. She is further survived by Russell’s family, Elgard (Carolyn) Barttelt, Jereome (LeAnne) Barttelt, Dale (Linda) Barttelt, Rodney Barttelt, Kevin (Julie) Barttelt, and Brian Barttelt.
Lynette was preceded in death by her parents George and Beatrice (Dehnel) Reichl, an infant sister, Rose, sisters-in-law Mary Barttelt and Debra Rodda.
Lynette was a loving spouse, mother, and grandmother. Her hobbies included cooking, gardening, and fishing. She was also a die-hard Green Bay Packer fan. She loved her family and friends deeply. She will be forever missed. We can all find solace in knowing she’s been reunited with her mom and dad and sister in Heaven. What a joyous reunion it must have been for them all.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM September 7, 2024 at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Rib Mountain, WI. Burial will be in Stettin Christian Cemetery. Visitation will precede the memorial service, starting at 9:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Lynette’s name. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com.
