The beloved LW Watson was called home on Saturday, July 20th at age 61. She was born in St. Petersburg FL. She was adopted at 4 months old by the loving Watson family.
LW had a variety of different jobs, her greatest feat serving in the United States Navy working in aviation ordinance until she became a disabled veteran.
On March 15, 2003 she became unified with the love of her life Glen Watson, and they settled down in Jonesboro, AR. They made a loud loving blended family of 8 children.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Proceeded in death by her mother Wilma (Byrd) Watson, her father Daniel Watson, sister Amelia "Danette" Watson and brother Alan Watson and step-daughter LaTrice Porter.
Survived by spouse Glen Watson, sons, Will (Liz) Garton, Dennis (Jeremiah) Garton; daughters, Jackie (Matt) Volhard, Bena Marie Harris; step-daughter, Tonya Moe; step-sons, Reggie Nichols and William Porter; grandchildren, Destiny Weyker, Christopher Fason, Kamari Fason, Kayla Puccio, Emma Garton, Eli Garton and Micah Volhard; step-grandchildren Nichaela (Alejandro) Moe-Russo, Elijah Moe, Jordan (Lauren) Dailey, Alexis Neumann, Truth Porter, Xavieria Porter; 6 great-grandchildren, multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 28th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ at 426 Washington St, Wausau, WI 54403.
