Lucille R. Schuett 88, Wausau died Thursday, October 24, 2002 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. She was born September 24, 1914 in Belleville, Illinois, daughter of the late John and Louisa (Stoehr) Massa. On April 10, 1943, she married Donald W. Schuett in Belleville, Illinois. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2000. Along with her husband, they lived in the Green Bay area for 40 years before moving to Wausau in 1996. She enjoyed reading, going to the casino's and was an excellent cook and homemaker. Survivors include one daughter, Judy (Tom) Hoover, Rib Mountain; two granddaughters, Paula (Kris) Anderson and Jillian Hoover both of Minneapolis, Minnesota; two nieces, Sandra (Wes) Krumrich, Belleville, Illinois and Sara (Rick) Schuett-Kersten, Wausau; one nephew, Dennis (Susan) Schuett, Arkansas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, William (Barb) Schuett, Wausau and Paul (Leah) Schuett, Minocqua. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Violet McKillop and one brother, John (Ida) Massa. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 28, 2002 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th St., Wausau. Burial will be in the Fort Howard Memorial Park, Green Bay. Visitation will be from Noon Monday until the time of services at the 6th St. funeral home.
