Lucille Murr

Lucille Murr 86, 500 E. Thomas Street, Wausau, died Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Schofield. She was born May 1, 1918 in Wausau, daughter of the late Arthur amd Emma (Bliss) Smith. On August 9, 1941, she married Clarence Murr at St. James Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on May 7, 1991. Among her many interests, she enjoyed bowling, and playing bridge and cribbage. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara (Richard) Hamm, Rothschild; one grandson, Michael Hamm, Mt. Prospect, Ill.; one brother, Charles Smith, Sullivan; and one sister-in-law, Helen Smith, Madison. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; and one brother, Edward Smith. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 31, 2005 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call from` 1:00 p.m. Monday until time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
