Lucille Olive Klock

Lucille Olive Klock, 95, Wausau, died Monday, June 17, 2002 at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau. Lucille was born February 24, 1907 in the town of Marathon, daughter of the late John and Antonia (Bruczinski) Jagodzinski. She married Charles "Joe" Klock on April 3, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois. He preceded her in death September 16, 1981. Lucille graduated from Marathon Schools in 1925. She moved to Chicago in 1926 and worked in a beauty salon and sold hats for a Millinery. While in Chicago she met Joe Klock and fell in love, they were married and lived much of their life in Hammond, Indiana. Lucille retired in 1972, and moved to Wausau in 1993. Playing cards, bowling and watching sports on the television were a few of Lucille's favorite things to do. She is survived by nieces and nephews; Alfred Joswiak, Marathon, John Joswiak, Lake Tomahawk, Ray Joswiak, Edgar, RoseAnn Bantes, Wausau, Arlene Hanneman, Wausau, Gladys Schuh, Wausau, Phyllis Blume, Marathon, Diane Fitzke, Wausau, Harold Hall, Wausau, Alois Hall, Marathon, Ralph Hall, Evansville, Ervin Jagodinski, Marathon, Joan Weisenberger, Rhinelander, Carol Gesicki, Kenosha, Vivian Austin, Michigan, Elaine Lee, Michigan; one sister-in-law, Bernice Jade, Warren, Michigan. Besides her husband and parents, Lucille was preceded in death by three brothers; Leo Jagodzinski, John Jagodinski Jr., Al Jade; five sisters, Ella Goldbach, Agnes Joswiak, Hattie Hall, Clara Lace, Celia Wrzescz. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. The Reverend Robert Thorne will preside. Entombment will be the Calumet Park Chapel Mausoleum, Merrillville, Indiana. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the services at the church Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon.
