Lucille E. Rauen

Lucille E. Rauen 86, Wausau, died Sunday June 1, 2008 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Cedar Ridge Elder Services, Weston. She was born September 23, 1921, in the town of Rietbrock, daughter of the late Charles Sr. and Clara (Berres) Rauen. Prior to her retirement, Lucille had been employed at Wausau Laundry and Dry Cleaners. Lucille also did volunteer work at the Church of St. Anne and Marywood Convalescent Center. She enjoyed traveling, visiting with friends and sewing dolls clothes which she donated to charity. Survivors include cousins and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Angeline and Dorothy and a brother, Charles Rauen, Jr. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Weds. June 4, 2008 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Poniatowski. Friends may call on Weds. From 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice.
