Louise A. Christiaansen-Gribowski

Louise A. (Christiaansen) Gribowski 93, Wausau, died Thursday, December 15, 2011 at North Central Health Care, Wausau. She was born November 29, 1918 in Medina, Oklahoma, daughter of the late Ida Thomas. She married August Christiaansen who preceded her in death. She married Arnold Gribowski who preceded her in death. In her younger years, Louise enjoyed flower gardening and doing needle point. Survivors include her children, Joyce (Donald) Taube, Farmington, Minnesota, Janette Christiaansen, Wausau and Wayne (Virginia) Christiansen, Wausau; grandchildren, Courtney, Jackie, Julie and Doug; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Marie Herncke, sister-in-law, Dorothy Thomas. Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by three brothers. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth St., Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
