Lou Ann Zemski

Lou Ann Zemski, 85, joined her heavenly Father on Friday November 15, 2019.

She was born May 4, 1934, in the town of Cassel, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Lepak) Wadzinski.  On June 19, 1951, she married Joseph J. Zemski at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cassel.  He preceded her in death February 4, 2006.

Prior to their retirement, Lou Ann and Joseph worked side by side on their dairy and ginseng farm.  They traveled extensively, visiting several countries.  She was a nurturing mother to her children and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Survivors include her immediate family.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday November 22, 2019 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon.  Rev. Msgr. Joseph Diermeier will preside.  Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.  Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
