Lorraine L. Thies

Lorraine L. Thies 72, 1320 Grand Avenue, Wausau, died Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. She was born January 28, 1931, in Tigerton daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Hahn) Kellbach. She married Richard Olds in 1950, he preceded her in death. She married Lester Thies in 1958. He preceded her in death in 1986. Lorraine was a graduate of Tigerton High School and the Northcentral Technical College. She farmed with her husband and was a homemaker. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. Survivors include two sons, Robert Olds, Little Chute, Richard Olds, Florida; a daughter Linda (Pat) Obertin, Oak Ridge, NJ; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a brother Harvey Kellbach, Tigerton. Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a brother Willie Kellbach and a sister Hazel Rettkowski. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2003 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Gary Schultz will officiate. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, Tigerton. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
