Lorraine G. Reuter

Lorraine G. Reuter, 75, 827 N. 6th Ave., Wausau, died Sunday, December 5, 2004, following a brief battle with cancer, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at the Hospice House, Wausau. She was born January 18, 1929 in the town of Wien, daughter of the late Henry and Meta (Steffen) Leffel. On August 8, 1951, she married Norman Reuter in Wausau. He survives. Lorraine was a homemaker, and an active member of the Fatima Council at the Church of St. Anne and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Survivors include, her husband, Norman, Wausau; four children, Patricia Reuter, Kathy (Bob) Basil, Wayne (Cyndi) Reuter, all of Wausau,, Rosemary Brodjieski, Schofield; four grandchildren, James Reuter, Wausau, Elizabeth (Aaron) Fisher, Menomonie, Rebecca (David) Hunsicker, Rothschild, Thomas Reuter, Milwaukee; one great-grandson, Andrew Fisher, Menomonie; one brother, Gordon Leffel, Wausau; four sisters, Irene (Joseph) Havlovick, Stevens Point, Margaret Taylor, Wausau, Adeline Dahm, Milwaukee, Elaine Dahlke, Wausau; five brothers-in-law; seven sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred Liebers, Caroline Guillaume, Delores Leffel; and two brothers, Arden Leffel and Norman Leffel. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m., Thursday, December 9, 2004 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Rev. Steve Brice will preside and Deacon Bob Anderson will co-officiate. Burial will be in the Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Wednesday, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. A prayer service will be 8:30 p.m., Wednesday at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
