Loritta Williams

Loritta Rose Williams, 89, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Aspirus Hospital. She was born December 29, 1925, in Rice Lake, WI, to the late Grace and George Papenheim. Loritta married Elroy Williams on September 9, 1952, in Chanhassen, MN. They were married for nearly 38 years until his death in 1990. She had a zest for life and always looked forward to the next milestone in her family. She loved to sew, knit and quilt and was still active in St. Matthew's Church quilting group. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Lynette and Tom McCool, Wausau; Grandchildren Kevin (Erica), Madison; and Allison McCool, Milwaukee; great-grandchildren twins Hank and Jack McCool; sister Margaret Komes; nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by three sisters; Martha Huckell, Marie O'Brien, Janette Gisler and one brother Robert. A memorial service will be held on March 28th, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service at Peterson Kraemer Funeral Home 3400 Stewart Ave, Wausau.
