Lois Gotz

Lois Gotz 88, 3003 Polzer Dr., Wausau, died Tuesday December 30, 2003 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston. She was born August 26, 1915 in Park Falls, daughter of the late Ray and Florence (Haytan) Wells. On April 30, 1959 she married Carl Gotz at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Butternut. He survives. Lois and Carl owned and operated the Coca-Cola Distributorship in Phillips prior to their retirement. The Gotz's were members of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. Survivors besides her husband, Carl, include a brother, Ray (Betty) Wells, Iron Mountain, Mich., a sister, Marion Lamphear, Ashland, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Wells. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 3, 2004 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. Robert Thorn will preside. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Ave., Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
