Lois Ann O' Connor

Lois Ann (Guith) O'Connor, 83, died peacefully Friday, May 8 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. Lois, known affectionately as Maudie by her family, was born March 30th, 1932, in Hudson, Wisconsin to Herbert and Freda (Hallberg) Guith. She attended Hudson schools and graduated from Hudson High School in 1950. Lois married Lloyd O'Connor in 1952. They later divorced. She lived in Texas, Mason City, Iowa, and Monona, Wisconsin before settling in Wausau in 1969. She worked for many years for the Wausau Public Library. Lois loved music, game shows, the Green Bay Packers, baseball, her many pets, and especially her children. Her family will miss her laugh, sassiness, and twinkling blue eyes. She is survived by two sons, Michael (Kitty) O'Connor and Thomas O'Connor, both of Madison, one daughter, Roxanne Swanson, Sun Prairie and two grandchildren, Jeremy Swanson, Beaumont, California, and Seth Fisher, Wausau. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and two brothers. Gravesides services will be held at Willow River Cemetery, Hudson.
