Lloyd G. Ferge

Lloyd G. Ferge, 82, 2400 Marshall Street, Wausau, died Sunday, June 16, 2002 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. Lloyd was born March 10, 1920 in the town of Wausau, son of the late George & Clara (Zielesch) Ferge. He farmed in the town of Wausau for many years and enjoyed writing Country & Western music. Survivors include three sons; Lloyd (Katherine) Ferge, Echo, Oregon, George (Karen) Ferge, Salem, Oregon and Linde (Lorri) Ferge, Salem, Oregon, and their mother, Joann (Carey) Ferge, Salem, Oregon, six grandchildren, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Jamie, Jessica and Breann Ferge and Jonathon Humphreys, nieces, Faith Borchardt, Wausau and Jeanette (Wilbert) Doerr, Seguin, Texas, and a nephew, Leslie A.(Carol) Ferge, Middleton. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Delores Utecht, Lucille Laabs, Virginia Holmquist and Dorothy Janiak and one brother, Leslie W. Ferge. Funeral services will be 11:00, Thursday June 20, 2002 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau. Rev. Dr. Michael Meranda and Rev. James Primley will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Stephen Lutheran Church Alarm Fund.
